The little Wallas 800 did a fair job of keeping the boat comfortable the other day on the backwater tour. When we got back to port and shut the thing off, it shut off and all was well. A short time later the combustion fan started spinning and the red lite came on, disconnected power, stove shuts down. I powered it up the next day and, with the on/off switch off, the fan spins and the red lite comes on indicating combustion. To make a long story short, the thermostat was bad, after some looking, I discovered that it is a Asahi model US 602s and is also used in coffee makers, projectors and a bunch of other stuff...I'll be hitting up an appliance repair store before the week is out to try to get a replacement. Smile

I ended up having to go through ScanMarine to get the replacement thermostat. It was for the best as I pried some info out of Karl on a little adjustment on the circuit board that makes the little one burner put out some real heat. The thing was always not much better than a hair dryer as far as heat production, durn, maybe it will take less than an hour to cook breakfast now Smile
