"How about anchoring under some big power transmission lines? Great to wirelessly turn on the lights, but a little tough when it comes to trying to remember where you left your coffee mug.oo"

A couple decades ago Bonneville Power nailed someone who had for twenty years been 'stealing' power from some overhead high voltage power lines. All it took was appropriate sets of coils in the attic.

I already have an electrical transmission system that beams 110V current from shore to my boat, even around corners and in wet conditions. The beam is focused through a high-visibility tube about the thickness of a finger. Extremely rugged and stores easily on board. Works like magic.

Check these out...http://www.thinkgeek.com/stuff/41/wec.shtml. This is a safe and easy way to get show power to the boat.

What about the AC Storage Battery that will become obsolete? Wink
