I'm about to install two bow chokes on my 25 that I got at the C-Dory factory garage sale. I was hoping to get some advice as to were the optimal placement of them would be? Close to the anchor, more inline with the forward cleat...?

Thanks
Fred

Fred,

I'd have to take a picture to explain how mine are mounted. Do you have a windlass? I put mine to keep the line away from the windlass and the bow railing, seems I remember about 40-45 deg off the bow on each side. If you'd like a picture of mine, just ask, but have to wait till Saturday.

Steve
