rcwass,
What you noticed in the photo are snaps below the bumper. They were not put there for a canvas cover, but rather a custom boat bra installed for front protection when trailering. We sustained considerable rock damage from travel on dirt roads on our 1st trip to Alaska in 2003. Had this installed to prevent more damage in future trips. Not one of our better ideas. The cure did possibly more damage than than what we were trying to prevent. All those snap rivets punched through the side of the boat can't be good.
We don't have any photos of the boat bra in place, with the boat on the trailer. If you still would like to see a photo of this, I'll try to get one and post it, when were hooked up a little later this year. Its still winter in Wyoming now.
When we changed our boats name from the Puffin to the Hunkydory, we figured it would be a more common name. Still couldn't resist, like you said, it does just fit. In several places we have been asked by people to have their photo taken along side the boat with the big Hunkydory lettering.
Thanks for the comments,

Hi Jay,
Thanks for your response. I've been looking for a cover for my 22' Cruiser to keep the tree debri out of the boat when stored in my yard. On second thought, I agree that those snaps may not be good for the boats structure. I wouldn't have a need for a bra on my boat for trailering. I towed my boat from California to Maryland and then Maryland to Maine with no problems. Again, Thanks for the response.
