Good idea
RE:links to suppliers - I don't mind a link to a great deal (like the one to the Honda 2000 or an obscure gel coat restorer) - these are helpful but, posts need to be reviewed by the moderators and deleted if they're hype. |

Some forums have a "sticky" FAQ starting each specific forum. The FAQ gets regularly updated with URL pointers to threads answering the more common stuff.
OTOH, it takes a dedicated "moderator" with lots of time on his/her hands to keep the FAQ current. I nominate Sea Wolf Joe for technical, my niece and nephew Pat/Patty for social threads and, of course Charlie and Dusty for Oral History, Seamanship, and Marine Coprolite. |

Think some cat is using my name in vain!!! Time on my hands?
Naaw - mixing shrimp bait, rockin', sittin' on the boat making BC motor noises... and practicing my S-turn, left-handed fly casting

OMG!!
"Charlie and Dusty for Oral History"
Now I'm in a category with Dusty! I'm honored, I think....
Actually, it's "Verbal" History, unless and until we get sound on this site! But now I'm picking nits.... Pesky little critters....
I have noticed that on sunny weekends, as it gets warmer, the traffic on the site dies down considerably. Could some of us have other things to do than sit here and type inane comments....Maybe even to out on a boat occasionally. Gotta get that lower unit fixed, get this house sold and get back on the water!! _________________ CHARLIE and PENNY CBRAT #100
