2005 Pro Angler 26ft, 2003 Honda 200 outboard and 2009 Honda 9.9 high thrust (50 hrs at most). Sitting on a trailer (more on that later).

Boat is currently shrink wrapped and in storage in Eagle River Alaska, Will be removing from storage and uncovering very soon.

Boat had a major rebuild/repair in 2019 ($20K) and is structurally sound. The entire transom was rebuilt and floors redone. The offshore bracket was removed and inspected and reinstalled as well as mounting holes were correctly done vs original build. Boat has maybe 50 hours on it since rebuild.

The boat was kept in Ninilchik AK and launched via tractor into the salt water. It was towed the mile or so back and fourth to the house 12-20 times a year since purchased.

The trailer story, the trailer is sound and hubs were redone a couple years ago. The brakes are not functional and would need a complete rebuild. The lights are in a similar state, but I will send the light bar with it. I did tow the boat 200 miles and had no issues and would do it again today. Its not an attractive trailer but functional.

$55K OBO in Eagle River AK. I could be convinced to deliver in South Central AK for a full price cash offer.

On a side note, Jack In Alaska (the account positing this) was my fathers account and this was his boat. Unfortunately he passed away last fall and I thought it would be fitting to post the sale ad under his account.

There are a few photos in the album associated with this account, others can be seen in this google photos link. I can get more specific photos on request next week. https://photos.app.goo.gl/XRWx7ALxcMczcft77

John, sorry to hear about your Father. I just went through his album again - very interesting and spectacular pictures.

Good luck with the sale - it is a beautiful boat.

Regards,

Rob

Very interesting boat. It is a 2005 build, probably custom built. I don't remember there being a production 26 in 2005 when the Reynolds were building the C Dory line.

What is the beam of this boat? I am guessing around 10 feet?

It is unique, in that appears to be a rare walk around model which is shown on the brochure in the photos. I am not positive if this boat specifically was built for charter fishing, but the walk around Tom Cat 30's were made specifically for 6 pack (uninspected vessel) charter fishing. The port sitting bench has been modified to a forward facing navigators seat, plus two facing athwartship.

The boat looks to be in very good condition. I believe it will be a fantastic buy for someone.

I would like to see several photos of the helm currently (electronics etc) and the cabin on the starboard side to see if there is a bench or galley.

Our condolences on loss of your father!

I’m Jack’s other son so chiming in with more information.

Bob is correct as usual, the port side was modified to add a forward facing seat in front of a bench seat. The bench will accommodate 2 people. Electronics are basic and functional: decent VHF and a Raymarine chartplotter. Also has a marine stereo and speakers.

Behind the helm seat is a basic galley configuration. Small sink and countertop with deep cabinets underneath. Similar if not identical to other C-Dory’s of this vintage. No stove top or Wallas. Not sure if there is a water tank still, we can look. We’ll get more pics of inside.

This boat has an enormous cockpit and a lot of storage under deck. Multiple compartments aft and a large compartment in the house floor. The largest middle compartment aft is akin to where you would find an inboard engine, only it’s completely open for storage.

The boat is an excellent day fishing boat which is what our Dad used it for. The walkaround space is very wide with a tall railing. Great for accessing bow and anchor or moving around while fishing. It would make an awesome charter boat. Others like this one have been used in Southcentral Alaska for chartering for years.

We’ll have to confirm exact beam but I believe the beam is standard 8’6”. I know it is not oversized and doesn’t require wide load signage.
