Cape Cruisers were built during 2006, designed to address shortcomings of the C-Dory 22. Improvements include deeper-V hull forward, reverse chines, and improved deadrise to give a smoother ride while still quick to plane. The Cape Cruiser added greater headroom, a larger V-berth, more hull insulation, and finer interior finish than the C-Dory 22. C-Dory purchased the Cape Cruiser moulds and design to become part of their upgraded Venture Series.

I like the kicker on the starboard side and swim platform on the port. That would help with balance when the fresh water tank is used. Seems very fairly priced, shouldn't last long!

Thanks; the only mileage on the kicker is the annual servicing and once each summer just to make sure it starts. The 115 has been super reliable, probably because of pretty zealous (professional) upkeep.
