Well maintained, tested and seaworthy C-Dory Cruiser 22.

I purchased this C-Dory in 2022 and have used it extensively including trips to the Bahamas, Florida Keys, Charleston, Jekyll Island and more.

I purchased the boat from a nice gentleman who had just completed the Great Loop aboard this boat and was looking for something different after completing that bucket-list trip.

I’m looking to sell as I recently stumbled upon a fantastic deal for a C-Dory Venture 23 and have decided to keep that one.

-1990 Cruiser 22, I believe I am the 4th owner.
-Engine is a 2009 Evinrude Etec with 1300hrs. I recently completed a 300hr service including plugs, thermostat, water pump housing/impeller. I can provide a computer report of the engine, and if interested can provide you with the dealer software and computer cable.
-2008 Aluminum double axle trailer with surge brakes and brand new tires. This trailer just made journey from NY to FL, hubs were great! Comes with spare tire and PVC bunk guides.
-Unique to this boat is two roof hatches, including a brand new Bomar hatch on the pilot house, with a custom machined roof adapter that won’t rot like the original teak one
-Washdown pump installed, provides pressurized water for galley sink as well as a hose in deck area
-Kicker motor mount
-Air conditioning via Zerobreeze Mark 2
-GPS receiver puck
-Spotlight with remote control
-Teak handrails on top and sides replaced with new ones, sealed annually.

I’ve tackled a lot of the projects that cause stress and worry to owners of these boats, including:
-Cabin hatch re-bedded, wet balsa core removed and repaired with epoxy
-Bulging window seals replaced
-Entire rub rail removed, all rivets taken out, rub rail replaced with stainless steel thru-bolts and hardware
-Anchor mount removed, re-bedded
-Fuel tank hold down bolts removed and epoxy filled
-Transducer mount is starboard glued in place, no drilling into the transom!
-ETEC EMM replaced and injectors sent for ultrasonic cleaning/evaluation last season
-Storage lockers installed under berth on both sides
-Inspection port installed for under-floor berth area

Included for asking price, or price negotiable if removed:
-300ah lithium battery bank with 2000w inverter
-Garmin 943xsv chartplotter/sonar with ultra high definition transducer

Boat will be ready for pickup at end of month, I am finishing work on trailer and installing brand new lower unit prior to delivery.

Updates:
-Trailer modifications completed, ready to go!
-Lower unit just needed new drain/fillplug seals. I took the boat out today and everything worked as it should, afterwards Idrained the lower unit oil to confirm the absence of water. This lower unit is an SEI replacement and I believe it is still under warranty until 2025.


Ready for more offers, lots of local interest and some offers, but nothing has stuck yet.

My Crusier 22’ has been sold, to a very lovely couple not far from me in FL. They’re moving up from a C-Dory 16’ and are very excited.


I’m quite excited to now be able to focus all efforts on my C-Dory Venture 23’!
