I'm curious why there is no storage under the bunk area in my 1991 22' Angler . Is it suppose to sealed for floatation if the boat sinks? _________________ Who would have thought it would be this much fun catching them one at a time |

Older boats were built with foam under the berths. Newer ones have compartments. A number of owners of foam filled boats have removed the factory foam and installed compartment hatches. It is not a difficult task, just messy (foam bits get everywhere). |

Thanks for the reply, I really don't need more storage as we won't be sleeping on the boat . I'll just tub a few essentials and stack them on the bunks. Thanks again |

There are many ways to do storage in the V Berth area, including hammocks on each side, and bungee cords x across the overhead with footman loops screwed into the underside of the deck.
I used that area under the bunks on our last C Dory 25 to put 200 amp hour of LiFePo4 batteries, and a 2000 watt/80 amp/50 amp Victron PSW inverter. Also extra anchor lines and storm anchor. (Fortress broken down) _________________ Bob Austin
