Hello all,
My wife and I just welcomed our baby daughter last month. She will be crawling and climbing in no time!
At the end of this season we pulled out our old transom bench which was severely rotten. So, depending on the strictness of you definition, that was good timing.
We are going to rebuild the bench this spring, but we're wondering if anyone has built a bench in the 22 that also blocks off the gap between the stern lockers that provides access to the outboard well.
Think "child safety" -something that would double as a nice lower back rest but also make the outboard well harder to access for a curious little one. Bonus points if it is able to articulate or come apart to make it so adults don't have to hurdle it to access the swim ladder. Basically, a baby gate for the transom.
Also, any other safety tips C-brats parents have to share would be most welcome! _________________ Cheers,
