After years of being a ghost on this site, looking and wishing, I finally pulled the strings with the spousal unit to buy a 1996 C-Dory 16 Angler. I got tired of getting wet while fishing in Puget Sound from a Livingston 12C.
She sure is a nice boat, formerly named Lady Nina (deduced from a slightly visible difference in gel coat color), I have yet to settle on a new name for her. I am a big fan of the Expanse TV show, and may select a name referenced from there, but due to an abundance of similarly named boats, I will not be able to bring myself to choose Rocinante...
With both a 40hp (3k hours) and 5hp Honda, I am excited to be getting out and about in the sound here, maybe this boat will help me produce more salmon for the fridge.
I have already gleaned a lot of useful information from the site, and look forward to talking with y'all.

Congrats. I also just bought a 16.
How does that 5hp kicker do? I am adding a kicker and have heard varying things about how much power is needed. Definitely want a get-home motor, but also want to keep transom weight down. _________________ --------
