I have twin Honda 40’s on my 2006 C Dory transom. The port engine just started giving me trouble when I lift it out of the water. It makes a grinding kind of noise and only comes half-way up. I’m wondering if there’s a place to add hydraulic oil to each lifter ram. The starboard side works fine. Or maybe I need a new ram. Where is the pump that operates those rams? Are they independent? Is there one reservoir? Or any reservoir? So many question. Brats often have an answer. Thanks. |

Look in the owners manual?
Yes you can add trim/tilt oil to your motor. The pump is bolted to the trim/tilt assy.
Google? |
