Thomas, and others, the manufacturer has for an unknown reason blocked their advertising. I have made several subsequent attempts to open their website after viewing photos and specifications for this interesting vessel. The company name and their email address is Orkney.co.uk. Please post any further information if you find any! <img src="https://i.pinimg.com/236x/9b/1b/a6/9b1ba66cc31bc09dc89112669a40858c.jpg" alt="Pilot House 20 | Orkney Boats | Motor Boats &amp; Crafts | Fishing &amp; Leisure | Trailer Launch"/>

Interesting boat! At the end of the video it shows Europe and UK. Sales marked as international but may cost big $ to have one shipped here.

Fit and finish appear very good. Of course in EU and UK boats are restricted as to where they can be used. The 20 is a class "C" restricted to inshore waters, winds no more than 27 knots and seas no more than 7' high. This would keep the boat from crossing the English Channel for example. It would restrict places in the Med that the boat could be used.

This boat and many others lack one of the most important features of the C Dory line--and that is the ability to cook, and eat, plus sit inside and see the world going by, instead of being on a cave as in express cruisers and most sailboats. This is one of the reasons we went to pilot house boats for our long distance cruising sailboats, and the C Dory.

Cost is $51,250. without outboard or any accessories. I would suspect that the headroom my be limited in the Galley. The same company makes a 27' boat, with a I/O, which would be similar to our C Dory 25 in function and pilot house with galley and dinette, including the view from the pilot house. The price is "on application" and the boat is rated Cat. "B",which includes winds up to Beaufort 8 and seas up to12 meters--could cruise almost any place in Europe coastal waters, but not make passages even to Madera (and doesn't have the range.)

I have never loved the raised pilot helm and having to go below. And as Bob pointed out, it probably is restricted in the headroom department down in the cabin and that would get old fast. One of the things I like about the CD 22/25 (others too) is helm is integrated into the cabin and there is plenty of headroom. Strangely, while it looks nothing like it on the outside, the layout on the inside reminds me of the Bayliner 2859, except way smaller. I don't think I'd trade my 22 for one.
