This 2006 25' C Dory "Calm C" is the perfect coastal cruiser for shallow waters. It will float in 18 inches of water, can be easily beached and navigate even the shallowest anchorages.

This boat has been rack stored for the majority of its life, but also has anti-fouling paint for extended saltwater cruising. A full camping enclosure and custom window coverings are included.

The cabin has 6'1" headroom and the V-berth has nearly 7' of length for taller boaters.

The Yamaha 150hp outboard has been babied and maintained with annual service. It has under 600 hours.

This boat is turn-key and ready for her next adventure.

Does the boat have a trailer?

Several of the views show an air conditioner on the roof--but the interior photo shows a 12 volt fan in the cutout where a AC would sit.

This looks like an excellent buy for those who have been lusting for a C Dory 25, including air head and bulkhead cut out...

Is this the same Calm-C that was once owned by Jack and Jeanne? I know that one did have an AC. Not sure if Jack had a trailer for it. It was a nice boat.

Only 1 photo actually shows the AC unit, the rest do not. Description says "Fantastic fan in roof for cooling".

I don't like to make negative comments about boats for sale in general. I had a reason for posting about the AC unit (You are correct it is only one photo.) But why put a photo of a boat (the same boat by FL numbers) with a photo of an air contitionioner and a SS Radar Arch/rod holder, if the current boat does not have these accessories? Why were they removed? How were the holes repaired? Were modifications made in the roof properly to support the air conditioner, without flattening the curvature of the roof on the C Dory 25? Better to not show the AC and Radar arch in general.

Yes the Fan-Fastic Fan is mentioned and visible. (Currently made by Domestic prior to 2014 by Atwood, and prior to that a private company.) I have had about 10 of these in RV's and one Maxx air similar. I have also used the marine product "Endless Breeze Fan". These are high quality products, but the vent fans are not marine oriented, and even on my RV's I put a "Rain Cover" over the fan, so it could be used in in climate weather. ).

It appears that a unsupported wire runs from the overhead shelf (by where the boat hook is located in the photo which shows the fan) runs to the fan. This wire should be supported--and probably best in a sheath of some fashion.

I don't believe that any of this necessarily detracts from the value of the boat, and a person buying the boat would get a good surveyor to look it over. Even with a good survey one cannot always tell where there are some serious problems with the 25.

Thank you for your comments .

It is not Jack and Jeanne old boat. Their old boat is now called Sally O’Malley and is docked in Welaka, FL on the St Johns River.

Ah, I think I do remember that now, just forgot. (Friends of Mike "Ms Jill" I believe?) Hope to see you all at Hontoon in March.

Is this boat still available? My suspicion is that the boat has already sold...
