Hello all,
we are quite interested in purchasing a C-Dory (either a 22 Cruiser or 23 Venture), and we would like to actually put eyes on either of these boats before going further. We live in S. Utah so there is not much of a selection locally, however we will be going up to the Puget Sound to cruise (with our current boat) for most of the month of July. Might there be anyone either along the way or somewhere between Olympia and Port Townsend that would be willing to let us have a peek at their boat? We should be leaving S. Utah on 7/3, launching in Port Orchard 7/6 and available until the end of the month (except for 7/21 - 7/27 when we will be supporting the Salish 100 event). Thanks in advance! _________________ Mark Stone

Whimsy, I'm in McCall, Idaho and have a 23 Venture should you decide to come this way I'd be happy to meet with you.

There is a very nice fully equipped Venture 23 on the water right in front of Anthony's in Cap Sante (Anacortes) for sale. _________________ Steve & Joanie

I have seen the 23 Venture that is for sale in Anacortes. It is a beautiful boat that shows like new. |

I know that boat. If anyone is considering buying a new 23 Venture, they should take a look at this one. The owner put a lot of electronics in it and it is the model that has the extra factory interior teak trim and vinyl insulation on the walls. Its loaded with factory options and has a camper back. I think the kicker is also power tilt and electric start. Nice boat! _________________ Gary F

Thanks for the comment Steve & Gary. I'm very surprised it hasn't sold yet. It's actually ready to go cruising. A new owner just has to load up their personal stuff and go.
It has just about all the factory options, including radar arch, windlass, tinted windows and two-tone decking, and a really good all-aluminum EOH trailer with side guides and oil-bath bearings. The 9.9 kicker does have electric start & tilt. No camperback, but a Stamoid bimini, and a 100 watt permanent solar system up out of the way cantilever from the radar arch (making amble room for a dinghy) with Victron controller. It's a really nice boat. |
