Well, we are at that stage life where a busy schedule and other family interests are getting in between us and our beloved exploration ship. This has been a great boat for my wife and I and had continued to be for our family life with two young kids. We have travelled the south and central coast of BC and the Westcoast of the Vancouver Island. This is an amazing boat with so much packed into a boat that can be towed with a full size truck. It very stable while running and at rest. However my favourite part is the great fuel economy that is well known for catamarans.
The boat is a 2001 Tomcat 24’ model
It was repowered with 2012 Suzuki DF140s (~1100 hours)
New Lowrance HDS 9 plotter
Older Furno Radar - though the new plotter is capable to be pair with a Lowrance unit (that is/was the plan)
Newer (2020) ICOM VHF Radio with AIS
NEMA backbone for electronics and motor connectivity
SS radar arch added with new VHF antenna and spots for outriggers
Second hydraulic steering position on the aft transom (steering only)
Wallas stove/heater (cooks great and keeps you toasty warm on cold days/nights)
Newer Norco fridge (2019)
SS sink with newer 20 gal fresh water tank
Lots of storage for extended cruising
Queen sized bed up forward with memory foam topper
Dinette that turns into a second berth (great for two kids or one adult)
Replaced twin aluminum fuel tanks 56 gal each (116 gal capacity)
Rocna anchor, galvanized chain and rode connected to a SS electric windlass (such a treat to have)
Raw water washdown with newer Jabso pump
Brand new portapotty located in an enclosed area, head, with electric fan for venting (= no smell)
Bimini with full enclosure of the aft deck. A great assets for early and late season cruising.
Sunbrelle cushions were replaced several years ago and are great shape
2005 Aluminum trailer with electric over hydraulic brakes on all hubs.
Pair of Scotty downriggers
Swim grid with SS boarding ladder (great for swimming and as a safety measure for easy boarding)
Pretty much every system has been replaced or upgraded over our 7 year ownership.
Asking $77k CAD/ ~59k USD
Photos to come after a nice wash and wax that is planned for this weekend. |
