We are picking up about 24 minutes of daylight (not sunlight) per week here in the Seattle area. It is great!
So. Cal? 13 minutes per week.
Anchorage? 37/week
Fairbanks? about 49/week! Dang near an hour each week of additional daylight! OK, consider where they started. _________________ Janet & Chris without CD22 Luna C

Working here on the Slope (Alaskan slang for North Slope of the Brooks Range) this time of year is VERY welcome. We will go from mostly dark with some twilight to full daylight very soon. With full daylight comes warm temps as well, another welcome addition. At the other end of the state where I live it is very hard to be patient during this time of year while waiting for things to open up. Gee I miss the lower 48 with it's warmer temps, longer seasons, more people. Wait a minute how did I get there? It must be the additional sunlight that made that last statement slip out.
