Patty and I are going to cruise to Princess Louisa the Memorial Day weekend, four days, Friday May 26 though Monday, May 29. SusanE Tom (Starcraft Tom) said he was going to head that way that weekend too. That sounds like the start of a CBGT to me...We'll be leaving from Blaine Friday a.m. as early as I can roust the fam...How about a sign-up sheet for that?

Is this going to be a shake-down cruise for the Ketchikan trip 10 days later? Have to think about this one in view of that fact.

Princess Louisa Memorial Day weekend sounds like a great idea! Caryn and I have talked about heading up there this year. This might work for us. Plus, it's always better to go somewhere with experienced boaters to help us newbies along Smile

We will be leaving from twin bridges on friday night and heading over to poets cove for the night. In the morning we head north to nanimo and cross the striats near whisky golf and on to P.L. inlet.we plan on not coming back until wensday night. Taking time off without pay for that. We may come back down the west or east side depending on weather.

you can clear customsat poets coves dock. just pick up the phone and it dials the customs office in victoria. really easy

We will clear customs at White Rock, but that is just because we are launching in Blaine...Bedwell Harbor (Poet's Cove) is a natural for people launching in Everett or Anacortes...

Back to the top! There are five boats signed up - this should be a GREAT one! I am assuming we will all rendevous at PL on Saturday, is there any spot there to have a group campfire / pot luck?
