Ode to Duality: One of the basics of Whatitis or Whasup.

Dualism; Dichotomy: Not the meaning of, but, perhaps
an answer to, the meaning of life.

The coexistence of similar, different, opposing or even
contradictory aspects of something: 2 sides to every coin,
2 hulls, 2 brothers, yin and yang, the road traveled and
the one less traveled by, knowing and the unknown, enigmas
as answers, the physical and the metaphysical, another parallel
universe co-existing within our present, life and death, life within
death and death within life.

Right and wrong, good and evil, yet realization there is no good
and evil, only thinking makes it so. Wanting what one already has,
inhabiting the life that is already yours - union with ourselves.
Confusing yet simple. Separate but united. Different yet all part
of the same irreducible and infinite whole.

Aye, aye.

The only relevant feature of "Duality" and our 'political culture' is the
[never used] inversion birth we had made in the bow of her starboard hull.

Sometime back, a friend was absorbed in the number 5. It went like this:
One day, usually arising at 6, he got up at 5.
He walked 5 blocks to catch Bus #5 to go to work.
The bus driver said today's rate is only 5 cents.
He took about 5 minutes thinking about the 5s occurring.
After about 5 miles on the bus, he got off at his bank and withdrew $5,555.
His idea: Go to the track and make a killing; he bet his $5,555. on horse #5.
Guess what happened?
His horse finished 5th.
