Hello, I was hoping to see a C-Dory 22 or 23/Marinaut/cape cruiser, and the Brat map isn’t working for me. If anyone in my area has one of these and wouldn’t mind letting me check it out, I would greatly appreciate it!

I am looking for a boat with a pilot house, that can cruise at 25-30 and go potentially 40 that is pretty easy on the fuel costs ha I can enjoy cruising on and doing a lot of fishing in the bays and near offshore. Thanks !

Hi Maddog! I am in Georgetown, so about 3 hours from you, north of Austin. If you would like to make the trip, I would be happy to take you out. There is another D-Dory in Katy named "Bixby's Cub" owned by Tex. You might look him up here on the site. He is closer and will give you some ideas about his boat. Good luck on looking!
I just recently took my boat to the C-Brats gathering in Florida and learned a lot from other C-Dory owners. Generally, we are an agreeable, happy group. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Thanks- I appreciate it. Tex graciously reached out. I am curious to see the 22 cruiser, if it has enough fishing space on the deck. It looks like I am limited on deck space aside from the 22’ angler but it would be great to see in person.

Mad dog, glad Tex reached out. He is a good guy and knowledgeable. A trip to see him would be worth your time. Best of luck to you!
