After a few months of deliberation, we've decided to start our search for a 16" cruiser. Can anyone steer me to where on the site I might find information about how that cruiser may have changed over the years, what models to maybe avoid or gravitate toward, etc.?
Also, I was looking at some of the old brochures in the other forum, and noticed that, at least in 2002, there were no stringers used in the C-Dorys at all, just balsa. Is that true in later models as well? It also seems from the line drawings that the v-berth of the 16' is only 3" shorter than that of the 22", that surprised me.
Thanks for any info, I know it's going to be a long time before a 16' cruiser comes up on the Northern California coast, so I'll have to be content with reading the thousands of pages of this site - the amount of information is amazing
