Someone had something mounted there at one time or another.
Looks like it lines up with the 2 holes above it.
Remove it & fill the holes ? |

It appears to me this was a base mount for a net or pot puller the previous owner installed. Check the gunwhale and coaming where there would be a few more holes for the upper part of the rig. Be carefull when removing this block as it looks like the bolts may have been installed through the bottom of hull!!! _________________ Barry Rietz
