I like the 22' but I prefer a smaller boat that can be towed easily. What years did C-Dory stop making a 20' or smaller boat? |

I believe it was in 2020 that C Dory announced that they would no longer make the 16 or 19. In the last few years, the demand for the smaller boats has been low. Also the profit margin in the smaller boats is less. Building boat is about the details, not just the molding of the hull in fiberglass. _________________ Bob Austin

Bob is right. 2020 they posted that they were dropping those. SO , , , ,
The value of all those 16's and 19 just went up. Hope you have one.

Actually i am looking to purchase my first C-Dory. I live in CT and have had a few boats in my past including a Grady White 208 Adventure and Hydra Sports 212.
Getting a little older and have been doing the camping thing with the family and have been thinking of getting back into the boating game and this boat has always perked my interest. Of course when I was younger I was wanting to get to my fishing areas quick and hit them hard, now I am mellowing with age (only 54) but want a boat the wife and I can relax in and still get me out there fishing. I have had boats in the 20' range in the past so thinking of staying with that and the size makes it easier to tow.
Thanks. |

I had a similar Grady White Walk around with 225 hp, and it would hit near 50 mph. Entirely different boats than the CDory22. For spending even an overnight, the 22 is far superior. |
