Interesting. Never mind. I turned off my secure VPN and it worked fine... Colby |

Link worked for me. The trailer is a little on the light side (6,000# capacity). If you keep the boat completely bare, and minimal food, fuel and water, it can probably be kept at that weight..You would have to weigh to be sure.
This is listed as a 2007 model, but was made in Oct. 2006, and is not the fiberglass interior--which is on my 2007, which was made in Dec. 2006. I personally feel the fiberglass interior is a little more roomier and there are a few other nice features in the moldings.
Otherwise this is a clean looking boat--with a kicker. Boats in the PNW seem to sell for more than in the other parts of the USA. _________________ Bob Austin

Somebody got a nice boat for a good deal.

I had first right off refusal on this boat. I checked it out and it was a nice boat. I don't like the stern design on the cruiser series. Seems like waves would crash over the back of the hull backing into waves fishing for bottom fish. I am on the hunt for a tomcat now. |

No, the waves, do not crash over the transom when backing into them.
I have owned both the 22 and the 25. The design of the dory hull allows the boat to rise up with the wave the and ride over.
You might get some water into the splash well, thus the name.
Good luck in your continued search! _________________ Patrick and Kim Walker

There is a pretty easy mod to close off the opening from the splash well. Some people have built fish boxes that span the space too (also blocking it off). |

I would urge anyone who is contemplating purchase of a C Dory of any type to try and get a ride on one before purchase. Don't judge either way, until you have experienced. There pluses and minuses as in with any boat. The Tom Cats have some negatives also... |

Congrats on the new boat - it looks like a really nice one to me. The CD 25 is a great boat and a great design. I wish I had one! |

Welcome Carl and Fran! Congratulations and thank you for joining us!
I tweaked the thread title a little bit so it jumps out and lets folks know there is a new friend aboard. _________________ TyBoo Mike

Hi Carl and Fran, Greeting from a Sequim neighbor. So good to see a new C-Dory here in Sequim. We are getting a nice collection again. I was on the road, (Big Trip, all the way to PA and back), and I saw two C-Dorys, and one for sure was not yours. It was a burgundy 22, with twin 40 Hondas and traveling under a full cover. The other one was at the Out Board repair shop, south of the hiway half way to PA. I think it had a black stripe. Is that you?
Welcome and hope we can meet, at least phone or PM here, and cross wakes down the calendar.
Harvey
