And I don't care who wins, as long as I get to go back to FISH ON FIFTH in Sidney next summer.
(And be fore this turn political, Yes I do care, and yes I vote.

We voted by boat. Left Port Orchard on Saturday intending to go to Seattle to drop off our ballots (I'm a King County resident). Wind came up (registered 25.8 mph), so instead of crossing the sound with the wind on our beam we went to Poulsbo for the night. Left at dawn on Sunday in beautiful calm conditions. Hailed Bell Harbor marina and they were fine with a "touch and go" (otherwise it's a $30 charge to tie up). Let Beth off to deliver our ballots to the courthouse When she came back, I saw that there is a new little dock at Pier 62. Went in for a touch and go there and back to Port Orchard. So it was an overnight voting experience.
Still beats standing in line for 6 hours to vote. It makes me sick to see people having to do that. Voting shouldn't take longer than the line at a drive-in restaurant. |

We have a voting party every election. a bunch of friends come over and we all look up all the candidates and measures on the ballet and if anyone has a question or needs more info we look it up. Most times some on in the room knows more about one thing or candidate then others do. Its fun to hear other opinions or viewpoints. In the end everyone vote how they wish and we turn all the ballets in at the court house that night. ////dinner is served and cards afterwards. _________________ Thomas J Elliott
