Has anyone added an oil pressure gauge to an older (1990) Honda outboard? I've got the standard light and buzzer, but I really like the information I get from seeing the actual oil pressure. I've done this in vehicles many times--just plumb in "T" and a nipple, put the original pressure switch in one end and the new sender for the gauge in the other. Is there any reason not to do this with an outboard? What metals should be used for the nipple and the T? Thanks. |
