Got lucky!!!!! Hello all, I just bought my first C-Dory (1983 22 Angler) that is in beautiful shape. This boat has not been in the water for 20 years and was winterized wonderfully. My dream boat! Cannot believe my luck with the fiberglass being in perfect condition. The electronics will need replaced but was all top of the line (back then) the motor a Johnson 70hp 1982 fires right up ( amazing) will need to be replaced with a four stroke and I am thinking 90hp should work (please advise). The best part was the price 5k!!😃 I told the man this was cheap, but he said he needed to sell and understands that it is a great deal but the boat need new electronics and maybe motors.
Enough said- I have my last boat and its the one I always dreamed of!! _________________ BigB |

Jerry, Welcome, and congratulations on a very rare find. Not many out there like that. Where are you boating? Finish filling in your profile and ask the admin guys for a photo album. (Go to the Memberlist, and they -- Tyboo or DaNag, will set up an album for you so you can show us your cool boat.

Congrats Jerry. I was also incredibly lucky this spring to find a 22 Cruiser that had been ignored for a few years and therefore fit within my budget. We love her and have been having an absolute blast with her all summer. Looking forward to some great Fall season overnights.
Enjoy your new boat. |

Will be on the bay very soon! New batteries, fogged motor, replaced water pump and lower oil- motor fired first time. New tires arrived, now I am rewiring trailer: checking brakes! Pink slips arrived yesterday and I am on my way to being a very very happy C-Brat |
