I’ve been lurking for a while now, even back to the Bill and El days. I’ve had lots of boats, sailboats, power boats, and they all have their charms. I’m thinking this will be my last.
My new to me CD22 showed up today! I had bought it from Chuck and Penny (Two Bears) via Sportcraft Marina in Portland, and hired someone to trailer it to me in Central Texas. So, Two Bears is now a Texan and will be changing her name as well. She will be known as “Saint Somewhere”. I’ll be checking in with pics and stories. I want to thank you for all your help so far. I’ve learned a lot from you all already, and have spoken to several of you directly. I’ll be in touch..... _________________ CD 22 “Saint Somewhere” 2020 - Present

txmntman, Welcome to the other side now. WOW, have you got some patience. Glad you're here. The "Two Bears" will be good to you and hope you enjoy it as much as Chuck and Penny did. Maybe we will get to see you in the PNW sometime.
OH, don't forget to ask the admin guys for a photo album. Go to the Memberlist, and they will be at the top 3 positions. (Tyboo or DaNag)

Chuck and Penny are such a nice couple. We met them at the Friday Harbor C-Brats gathering 2 or 3 seasons ago. They gave us a tour of Two Bears and were quite proud of all their accomplishments to make it into a comfortable boat for extended overnight travel. The cabin storage ideas well thought out and personal items well organized. Chuck also did a great job on the custom Captain's Seat. You should be quite pleased with your new purchase for many years to come. Congratulations! |
