going to deliver her then head to MD to pick up Alexa Jane and bring her back to our house. Get to insulate another V-berth and trim it out in cherry wood. Not sure what other projects Nancy may have in mind.

We are discussing a new name. Combining our mother's names it looks like Emma Mae is the leading contender.

Bud, i was going to ask if you already had plans to do that v-berth area... again. Wink So, if you think it will take you a week or so to get that v-berth insulated and trimmed out, you may want to start looking for the next boat now. Twisted Evil Maybe get that transport driver on a retainer.

Just funnin'... Bud and I go back a couple decades. Back when we were both sailors... back when he made a good run at cornering the market on Seawards. Mr. Green

You know me only too well. I only owned 5 Seawards, hardly cornered the market and one I never got in the water after many hours of rebuilding the whole interior. It did get wet when the fire department arrived at my house and spent one and one half hours pumping water into it.

Emma Mae will only be our third C-Dory

Not even close to my motorcycle owner ship currently on my 13th BMW.

Going back decades makes us sound OLD!

Oh, wait a minute, we are older than when we first met by a few years.

BTW I talked to Uncle Jerry today. He and Miss Jo are still mostly sheltering in place. He is thinking about launching Miss Jo's Catalina 22 in Watts Bar Lake for the summer of socially distance sailing.

Enjoy your scoot adventures and good to see you made it out on the water for a while. We are hoping to do the same soon. Plan on a trip to KY Lake before any other work is done to make the new boat "ours".

Looks like the TSA North Channel cruise is off for this year.

Good to hear from you again even if you are now Scooter Trash! Very Happy

Hey Bud, You make good choices (in boat brands anyway), 5 Seawards and 3 C-Dorys. Thumbs Up Thumbs Up My next choice after my Montgomery sailboat was going to be Seaword, but then I found C-Dory. I just don't change them quite as often as you do.

Now then, (and this is stepping off the thread a bit so I am apologizing in advance), if we could just get you onto a Honda Shocked CoolSmile you wouldn't have to change bikes so often Laughing Thumbs Up

Hummmmmm (oh, that's what my Shadow does), so Take care and enjoy your CD free vacation. WE are still here so you don't have to feel lonely Wink

Now back to the previous program content.

Harvey,

When I started riding again at 56, my first bike was a Honda Shadow 1100. A typical cruiser style bike. Unfortunately, my riding skills weren't up to the task and the bike was totaled Thumbs Down

Other than a Wee-Strom, the rest have been Beemers. But the current one is for sale which will leave me with ZERO bikes in the garage, the first time in the last 17 years. The most I had at one time was 3 but that was an exception.

I often lusted after a Montgomery 23.

Life is good.

My Dreamboat was that 23. It was $$$$'s issue. Seems funny now.

Shadow 1100, very nice. Sorry that one folded. Hope you got out of that with nothing more than a needed band-aid. I like my 750 because I can sit and have my feet flat on the ground. Did a RT ride to NM a couple of years ago. Averaged 55mpg for that trip.

Glad you are still sticking with the C-Dory, and it's good to have you here.

Hey There. Can I ask where she's going in Maine? Hope to cross paths with her sometime this summer.

I was up in Portland yesterday and saw her sitting at Portland Yacht Services. Great looking boat! Sorry I missed her.

Hey Moxieabs. I've been studying the maps and reaching out to a few people. Good to know there are a few around the immediate area. Both 22's? I also heard through the grapevine that there is another 22' for sale in York. Not listed anywhere, but I can put anyone in touch with the seller. He's on the map as well.

I may have a found a 19' which I'm excited about.
