Barb and Berry took the newly re-powered and spiffed up Crabby Lou our for her maiden voyage yesterday, and we were there! I thought for sure Barb would have some photos for you all, I will prod her to do that! Here is one of my photos at the Blaine boat ramp. We cruised for a few hours at break-in speed, but they/we are going our again today, and Berry will get to bump the throttle up a bit today. I think we are headed for Matia and Sucia to show them what awaits them!
Berry has done a magnificent job with the Buff Magic, Pro Polish, and my DeWalt dual action buffer! I also introduced them yesterday afternoon to Salt Away! This boat looks as good as any 16 Cruiser coming new out of the factory, and the wooden handholds and grab rails are classic.
When they fueled up with non-ethanol gas at the Ferndale Country Store, they experienced for the first time what we all know happens to all of us - the guy driving the fork lift in the parking lot came over just to tell them how "cute" their boat was!

Looking good! And Pat I agree about the wood rails, love them. Also should be a great day for a cruise to Matia - I cruised by last Saturday during my 134 mile 16' Angler cruise and the Matia dock IS in for the summer (some state park docks are still not in place including 2nd dock in Fossil bay, and Jones Island).

And oops! I said "Cruiser" when I meant "Angler"! Looks as good as any new 16 Angler!
Thanks for the report on the docks, Mike - we are going to check out Matia and Sucia, probably won't get to Jones today, that will be another trip. We feel somewhat constrained by the tides, they could retrieve on a minus tide, but it is so much nicer to have enough water at the ramp to just float the boat onto the trailer!
