Is there a good reason not to put twin 25s on a C Dory 16 cruiser? Weight wise two twenty fives is only barely heavier than a fifty of the same brand (Yamaha).
Thanks for your time

Con: Higher cost of maintenance.

Pro: Harvey would love it and your low speed maneuvering would be spectacular! Very Happy

Additional steering linkages, throttle and battery cables, fuel lines, and instruments will all contribute some weight, complexity, and most notably expense. Not to mention twice the maintenance. But is sure does sound neat!

the whole idea of a 16 footer is to do more with less.
