Thank you for the reminder of what life was like.--and the simple fortitude that our ancestors had. I had a grandmother who was born on a farm in Illinois in 1869, and died in 1969 only a few weeks shy of her 100th birthday, but she watched man first set foot on the Moon. There was not only high childhood mortality, but many adults did not live over 40 to 50 years of age. _________________ Bob Austin
