Heard another funny joke

WHO apparently has concluded that dogs can’t get Coronavirus
so they said “all you people who have had your dogs in isolation can let them out”

So “WHO let the dogs out!”
😂😂

Keep it light. Someone said all these things came to pass - they didn’t come to stay they came to pass!

I signed up for the Cathlamet cruise. I worry as I constantly hear about the dangers of catching the virus on cruises, do you think it will be safe?

My music partner and I did a song about it...

(Parental Advisory: Explicit Lyrics)

https://soundcloud.com/captainjimb/the-corona-virus-covid-nineteen-song

For full disclosure, Mark did the lyrics, I was just pretty much a session player on this one. I just heard our song is circulating around Europe and is supposedly getting played on a Milwaukee radio station (with bleeps, I assume).

The blog post on it: http://captnjim.blogspot.com/2020/03/we-need-your-help.html

Laughing You're probably safest on the C-Dory cruise. I've been out with a group of 10 boats that is dwindling down to just two of us tomorrow, and to be honest, while the rest of the world frets and hoards TP, we've had a great and relaxing time, almost oblivious to what's going on, other than the news we read over our smart devices. Maybe I will self-isolate on my Dory! Just me and my fishing rod!
I will be at peace out there

I looked at a 19 but a covid 22 seemed a better fit for cruising 😜. Signed up to help deliver groceries to people here who have self quarantined (mostly very old or sick). We’re trying to support locally owned businesses as much as possible while they take a beating from reduced tourism. Buy gift cards from them, be generous, humorous, practical. Laughter IS healing.

Ken and all, I just posted on the Cathlamet event thread. There were sufficient concerns raised which led to its cancellation for now.

Still looking forward to meeting you someday.

that's probably prudent. Actually, I wasn't overly concerned about the cruise as I think the number of guests on a C-dory would be considerably less than what would find on a Princess cruise Smile

Who wants to throw in with me and get rich?
Do you remember curb finders on cars? I'm going to start making belts with a ring of 6' long curb finders attached to ensure folks maintain a safe social distance. This is going to be better than my idea of starting a chicken ranch on the Hanford nuclear reservation and growing double breasted chickens

UK Virus ALERT The English are feeling the pinch in relation to recent virus threat and have therefore raised their threat level from “Miffed” to “Peeved.” Soon, though, level may be raised yet again to “Irritated” or even “A Bit Cross.”The English have not been “A Bit Cross” since the blitz in 1940 when tea supplies nearly ran out.The virus has been re-categorized from “Tiresome” to “A Bloody Nuisance.” The last time the British issued a “Bloody Nuisance” warning level was in 1588, when threatened by the Spanish Armada. The Scots have raised their threat level from “Pissed Off” to “Let's Get the Bastard.” They don't have any other levels. This is the reason they have been used on the front line of the British army for the last 300 years.
The French government announced yesterday that it has raised its alert level from “Run” to “Hide.” The only two higher levels in France are “Collaborate” and “Surrender.” The rise was precipitated by a recent fire that destroyed France's white flag factory, effectively paralyzing the country's military capability.
Italy has increased the alert level from “Shout Loudly and Excitedly” to “Elaborate Military Posturing.” Two more levels remain: “Ineffective Combat Operations” and “Change Sides.”
The Germans have increased their alert state from “Disdainful Arrogance” to “Dress in Uniform and Sing Marching Songs.” They also have two higher levels: “Invade a Neighbour” and “Lose.
”Belgians, on the other hand, are all on holiday as usual; the only threat they are worried about is NATO pulling out of Brussels.
The Spanish are all excited to see their new submarines ready to deploy. These beautifully designed subs have glass bottoms so the new Spanish navy can get a really good look at the old Spanish navy.
Australia, meanwhile, has raised its alert level from “No worries” to “She'll be alright, Mate.” Two more escalation levels remain: “Crikey! I think we'll need to cancel the barbie this weekend!” and “The barbie is cancelled.” So far, no situation has ever warranted use of the final escalation level.
The Russians have said “Its not us”

This kind of thing can bring out the worst, but thankfully also the best in people.
