Use a cell phone, a computer, or the internet? Might want to judge a little less harshly. |

The photos of interior will not link, but Check this link to see the interior of one version of the 7.90 meter "Australian Designed, Aluminum hull".
Sorry I would not be an early adaptor, but on the other hand, a number of high quality boats are built in China--such as As Nordhavn. (The new 41 and the biggest steel boat are now being made in Turkey). DeFever yachts are built in China, The Sea Horse Diesel Ducks by Bill and Sherry Kimmel are being made in china.
I wonder about the quality of the alloy, the welds etc. But there are some very good craftsmen in China.
A friend of mine bought the first "Formosa 41" imported to the US in 1972. When he used a hole saw to cut a hole for a depth sounder transducer, he discovered that the entire laminate was news paper--no glass. Chinese had been making all sorts of things out of paper mâché--so why not use this new "miracle material": polyester the workers decided to save a little on the cost. He got a new hull, and it was fiberglass. (The real roots of polyester and fiberglass go back into the late 1930's--I owned a boat built in 1940, with a hull made of polyester and fiberglass cloth [built in the US]. _________________ Bob Austin

Bingo!
And not a bad looking boat, not as pure as a C-Dory, but still nice. The aluminum hull sounds good, and it might have been built by my recycled beer cans, so that’s a plus |

Pretty sure Mark was talking about the Fly Bridge... you aren't going to get up there with a cell phone, a computer, or even the internet. |

They are still our enemy. If you don't agree, that's fine, but it does not mitigate that fact. |

Fine looking boat until you get to the flybridge. NOPE, not for me, not on a boat that small, even if it is a cat. No need.
I will pass on this one. (Compare to Armstrong -- there is no comparrison.)

I agree about the flybridge, but I think it's a 33 foot boat. Also, agree no comparison to Armstrong in many respects including price. _________________ MartyP

All that I read showed the boat at 7.9 meters, or about ~26 feet. With only a little over 8' beam a flying bridge on a small boat can be iffy. The "Gospel" boat company as a few flying bridges on this size boat, but most are pilot house, open, or work boats, including landing craft. |

What I was seeing or figuring was they were about 30 feet and 8 something beam. Way to small for a FlyBridge in my book.
and Marty You are right about the Armstrong price especially.
Interesting boat company name (Gospel) coming from China.

That may be, but I have looked through their entire website and find nothing indicating any tie to any Christian organization or leaning that way. Just seems a curious name fora boat building company.
