That is a real knockout boat. Love that shearline. And 600 mile range. Funny how the red stripe around the cabin top is red, then it is not. But I guess for that price, you can get some really tricky paint.

There was a diesel outboard booth at the last few SF boatshows. It was HUGE and heavy, cool to check out but I think only corporations or the government could afford them. (Or want them for long distance patrol fuel economy) _________________ Micah Curtis and Dana, RN

OXE diesel outboard has been around for awhile. Doesn't seem to have caught on. The size and weight is a problem for smaller boats. I also read that the vibration and noise are noticeably higher than a gas O/B. Ok for work and military/LE, not so much for recreational stuff. |

The 200 hp is 771 lbs weight. That is almost 300# more than the Yamaha inline 4 200 hp. It costs only $46,000 lbs plus rigging.
