Our 2007 C Dory 16 Cruiser, “Sock Monkey", with a 2007 Suzuki DF 50 TLK and heavy-duty aluminum frame Magic Tilt trailer is for sale. Asking $12,500.00 obro.
We are selling, due to the fact that over the past several years; we have been using her less and less. Now, I’m starting to resent having to do the maintenance. It's time to find her a new home.
We are the second owner having purchased her in 2008 with 10 hours on her. The hour meter reads 134.5 hours but it was noticed the hour meter never registered while cruising at idle/slow speeds; only when the boat was up on a plane. I estimate the engine hours are 200 plus. It is a saltwater configured engine, but we have never used it in saltwater.
It includes two props. The prop that came with the engine, SS 11 ¾ X 13 and the prop now on the engine, aluminum 11 5/8 X 12. It comes with three 6 gals gas tanks.
Two manuals are included, the official Suzuki Outboard DF-40 and DF-50 Four Stroke Service Manual and a SELOC Suzuki Outboards 1996-07 Repair Manual 2.5-300 Horsepower, 4-Stroke Models.
I did the basic maintenance, as there are no Suzuki outboard dealers within easy traveling distance. A competent and respected local marine mechanic completed all other maintenance.
The electronics include, a mounted Cobra 18 WX ST11 citizen band radio with 4 ft. antenna and stainless steel fold down rail mount. Included is a Cobra MR F-45-D marine vhf radio with a 36” s/s, 3db antenna and s/s fold down rail mount.
There is, also, a mounted is a HumminBird 798 ciSi side scan, GPS/depth, fish finder. It replaced a Garmin GPS/depth finder with freshwater transducer and roof mounted antenna, which is included. There is also a mounted Ritchie compass.
Blue Sea Mini-charging system with dual batteries.
Other equipment includes: Two # 13 fluke Danforth style anchors, 100 ft. three strand nylon anchor line with ten feet of ¼ inch chain and a homemade “Y” bridle for stern anchoring. There are also two F 5 Force aluminum anchors.
Four 20’, 3/8 inch, three-strand nylon mooring lines.
A small port-a-potty, which we have never used.
Four life jackets and throwable cushions.
If interested PM me and I’ll respond with my phone number and e-mail address. Thanks.
