Who's got the money and desire to put one of these things on a c-dory and see what happens? My naval architect says they're amazing. _________________ Conrad Metzenberg

Permatrim on steroids. But there are several cats made with foils between the hulls, The design for these is available on the internet: just modify one for the C Dory. _________________ Bob Austin

I had a similar looking devise but a lot smaller on my 15Hp Johnson on a 14 foot open skiff and it gave the stern significant lift. It was actually a skeg guard with a small wing on the bottom, called a rock hopper motor guard that I got from Cabela's but can't find it on their online catalog now. Also worked great as a skeg guard. |

So this is why I bought a Perma-trim
But have yet to install it
Have found that I barely use the trim tabs, just to level the boat
But then I haven't had any real weight in the stern yet either _________________ Weeki Wachee
