This is the first year in a long time that I have not been to the Seattle Boat Show. It has been my practice to go there, and among other things, purchase my BoatUS membership. The advantage to getting it there was there was always some freebie, AND I would get a free current year cruising guide by purchasing my Recreational Boater of Washington menbership. There was always a discount at one or the other ststion by purchasing both, plus the freebie. SO, this year I was unable to get to the SBS, and consequently I missed all the good stuff, and really, the BoatUS membership IS the good stuff.
OK, I know I can join on line. Curious if any of you know of any $$ saving tips on the membership?

I've always renewed online, and don't know of any special savings tips. Last year with my planned Alaska Cruise, I opted for a higher membership status to cover coastal waters. This year I'm just back to Great Lakes and Rivers with the better towing package. Have yet to use it, but the "insurance" gives me peace of mind! Colby |
