Good Day to all, I'm starting to feel like an old hand at this. ( my 7th post)
I came across a product the other day that may be of interest to some of you. The company is called Hyper Vent. com and they make a product that appears to have some value. It is a stiff spun polymer that is 3/4 inch thick and designed to create an air flow under mattreses, seat cushions etc. I will be putting it in our berth prior to spring and hope to have a good report following.

I like it!! But I forgot to look and see how much it is Question Neutral I think a layer of that under my neoprene foam will be a huge improvement! I have to take out all bedding and let foam dry-out, that comes in contact with any bare fiberglass.

You know I looked at that stuff and then I looked at the price and then Idea Idea fired off ......Why not try some of that cut to fit furnace filter stuff ?? So off to the local Mega Home Buy So Lo and sure nuff there it was for $5 a sheet 36"x24"x1" so I bought a few to give a tryout and see if it works. I will let you know if it was worth while or not.... for a total of $10 it sure can't hurt to try and we we be staying in the boat at Port Townsend for a week or so right after Christmas so it should get a good work out.
Later...........Big Dave.

I think I dished out about $80.00 for enough to do the vee-berth. I used carpet-tape to to hold the pieces (3 ?) together. It works well keeping the sleeping bag dry.
