Only a dim bulb wouldn't get a charge out of that.

A combo lantern/spot /"safety" (red) LED. It's a NiteEze Radiant 3in1. I use a ton of flashlights for Christmas and this will be one for a gift. It was on a good sale price. Can't help myself Embarassed

OK. So a flashlight can help thro some light into a predominately dark
universe.

To eliminate the battery/recharge problem, why not solar powered?
Why not xtra features* in addition to light? Like your cell phone can do
way more than make/receive calls.

Check this one out: the HaloXT Solar powered flashlight**

Aye.

*Handy for mariners: a blade to cut that anchor rode wrapped around your ankle,
a compass to help get you home, a window hammer for your emergency shower
stall escape, a 2000 man power bank to recharge the things you can't let go of,
and more.

No less an authority than "Tim" says it is:
"Was really glad it’s waterproof as my son dropped it in a stream . . ."

I don't know why, but when someone describes their flashlight as "patriotic" it just makes me sad.

Not only waterproof but "Durable".
You can not only drop it in the water.
You can run over it with your tow vehicle.

Seems it "takes a licking' and keeps on flickin' ".
Kinda reminds me of my old Timex that stopped
after 6 months.

It's perfect for the (Patriotic) "Dark Times to Come".
As you know, these times are always just around the corner.
So, better order soon as they're sure to sell out fast.

Aye.
