Head vs. dinette (and optional berth). I'm not sure which is the better setup. |

This boat was advertised on the C Dory site, with the same link to Craig's list a few weeks ago: Here.
I had asked what brand the water heater was, since a compact water heater like this is hard to find. The answer was "look at the Craig's list"--the reason I asked is that the Craig's list photo is not of sufficient resolution to determine the brand of water heater.
I would say the boat is a good buy, if you want a very small head, instead of the aft seat and dinette. _________________ Bob Austin

When they're all sitting around the toilet, playing games or having snacks, since there's no dinette? Oh, yeah, you have a 25, so you get both. |

Maybe the head on the 50 footer was out of service. _________________ MartyP

If this was a solo boat the head might be nice
But I had one with a head for years and it didn't get used much
Guess if you're staying in a marina it would be different
Would much rather have the extra bed and dinette combo |

If it's a solo boat, do you really need a separate head? I'd think I'd still want the dinette. |

YUP, mine is 98.8% solo and I use the dinette way more than I would a head.
Anchor out more, and use a closed system.

Yea, I agree; dinette is a must
Rarely ever used the head in my convertible cruiser
Women liked it though
But my head on that boat had a freshwater shower
And the size of the shower was actually large enough to move around in
The one on this 22 C-dory looks extremely tight in the pic |

Honestly, if it weren't for that head
I'd have already been up there to pick it up
