Except for what I've posted the boat seems fine
Just being sold by a team that's not as professional as
We would like
Reminds me of the guys I employed for thirty years
Never as good as you would want
But personally they are wonderful,
Maybe that's what I should do,
HoJo's been on my ass for years to get a job
I'd probably be a good boat salesman |

When it comes to computers, it may take me a bit to figure things out
What is great about this site is all the info
Don't think there's anything about these boats that hasn't been discussed
And it's been easy to locate too
Still don't know how to delete though

One thing that really surprised me
was how nimble these boats seem to be for the size.
Suppose it's just been a while since I had a lighter boat.
Was nice for a change. And so much easier to launch and retrieve too.
Boat went straight on the trailer perfectly.
Wish my smaller dory would do that. |

Maybe it's just this week being prior to July 4th
And everyone's scrambling for their boats
But I've been trying since Saturday to get an answer as
to what's going on with this cruiser
Saturday, the one salesman that took me for a sea trial said he'd call back within the hour
Salesman says today that it's in the shop and should be ready and he'll call me back
No big deal to me whether it's ready this week or next
or even next month
I'd just like to know what they're doing

After e-mailing the manager
and asking for a response to my questions in writing
I heard back from the salesman pretty quickly
He said the idle problem was just a matter of adjustment
Headed back down Monday for another sea trial  |

Why didn't you get a marine survey done? As well as have a independent mechanic check out the engine.

I've probably got more experience with boats than the surveyor
That's what the dealer is dealing with 
But...
This newb can tell there's a whole lot of experience gathered here
That's priceless
There's a really nice boat in Bokelia
It's just that since I quit working eleven year ago
I don't want to spend any more moolah than I have to

I can see getting a marine survey on...
most anything other than this purchase
We, HoJo and I have really scaled down
I've been looking at these boats for as long as...
they've been for sale in Crystal River
Remember laying the sewer line up to the dealer before we know what
was going there
Actually had fish in the ditch
Lord, that's been a long time ago

Trying to figure out just exactly where I'm going once I get this boat
Probably head south to more populated areas for a trial run
But...
One of my closest friends owns a 90 acre island at the mouth of the Suwanee
The cutest girls from UF came to call the last time I was there
According to them the island used to be huge
There's indian pottery hundreds of yards off the beach
See if I can find the vid from me and Island Dan driving down the beach |

Back tomorrow for the third time. Along with everyone else I wish I could find a 22 with twin 40s,
electric wipers,
windlass,
full canopy,
radar and kayak rack,
easily sliding windows,
extra large sump for bilge
jack plate
it's got trim tabs
rocket launcher
...right now I just hope they've actually got it in working order  |
