I know it's listed at a high $ value but please don't let that scare you, if you are intersted please contact us. The owner really wants it to go great home and having worked on it over the last little while it's really a sweet little boat with lots of neat features.
Thanks again Laura |

Hello
I'm not sure what to say about it. Dickinson is a local BC company been around for years they make a lot of BBQ designed for boats as well. As it's our nighbours boat and we have been making sure everything works on her we tested it and it came right on, we just used one of those small propane bottles. Nice amount of heat I wish we had something like that for our boat. The web site is www.dickinsonmarine.com
Hope this helps a little Laura |

This looks like an exceptionally clean and well equipped early (pre 1987 hull change) C Dory.
Ref the Dickinson heater: they are well respected thru out the World. We had a diesel version on one of our large cruising sailboats. You can heat a small pot of water on the horizontal surface. Some had a larger surface than this Newport model. _________________ Bob Austin

Hi Bob
Thanks for the help with this question and the nice comment. Just sent a potentail sale to the C-Brats site knowing it was a "risk" as so much information and knowledge available. He was looking for more of a cruising boat then Tipsy who is really a fishing boat I think and I know will now find himself on the right track. In the end happy boaters make for loved boats. Laura |

There are way more boats than boaters. Go to any marina on a sunny day! Please be sure your price is a selling price. Just advice from a "Old Man From the Sea."
BTW...I have made every mistake known buying and selling the perfect boat. Just remember the 2 best days of owning a boat. The day you buy and the day you sell.
Brokers are great. Check them out and then you can leave it alone till the check/cash is delivered.
Old Man trying to help! |

Hi Chuck, I know the price is really high, there is a long story behind that but really she is just looking for a great new home. Very open to finding her a home where she will be loved and she can have some fun with a new family, so really open to offers if the right person comes along. Thanks for the help Laura |
