Anyone figured out how to drain tank on a 25 ft cdory without using the water pump
Or is there a drain that I’m not seeing?
Thanks |

Pull the hose off the pump and let it drain. You will get most of it out. _________________ "We can go over there...behind the 'little one'....."

Nor knowing all the 25 changes over the years, I can only offer the configuration of Journey On, a 2005 model.
The tank is under the v-berth. A line comes out of the lower port side bullkhead to the pump in the hot water compartment. I installed a filter and drain valve at the point where it comes out of the bulkhead. It doesn't come with either.
A second approach, which is what I used, is to trace where the pump inlet line goes. Drain the tank with the pump. Then, at the lowest point of the inlet line, install a filter and drain valve. that should work wherever your tank is.

We have a 2007 like jk. The tank is under the splash well, in the bilge. |

Yep--the 2007 is back where the holding tank was on the 2003-2005 boats. We have a fresh water wash spigot in the cockpit--just hook a hose up to that and pump the tank dry. _________________ Bob Austin

My 2007 25 water tank was also under the splash well. From what I remember it was in a hard spot to access (although you don't need to access it very often). _________________ <><><> Jason <><><>

I have a 2006 25 and the water tank is under the splash well. I have a hot water heater so I open the drain valve on the front of the hot water heater with the water pressurized. the water drains into the Shower pump box and then out the side of the boat. |
