Sea Rose
This C-Dory Tomcat 255 is an unusual boat. The hull was built in 2009, ordered by the C-Dory dealer in Maui, along with 2 others. He shipped them to Hawaii- 2 to Maui & 1 to their outlet on Hawaii, where this boat sat on the trailer in his storage building unsold. When we bought it in 2014, it was a little unloved, but basically a new boat that had never been in the water. We shipped it back to Canada in December 2014, fitted it out & it finally floated for the first time in spring 2015.
Although the dealer could not sell the boat, he did sell the engines, & subsequently replaced them, so they were also new at launch in 2015.

The boat has been systematically upgraded in many areas including:- Much of the wiring has been replaced/upgraded with Blue Sea multi battery switch including twin ACRs to the 4 Group 31 AGM batteries (1 for each engine & 2 for cabin). There is also a new Blue Sea 3 battery- 4 stage, smart charger. The front fuse block has been upgraded to Blue Sea breaker panel, & new rocker switches have been installed on the console.

The bait well has been replaced with the battery box, & the fish boxes are now dry (with a sump drainage system) & suitable for storage.
There is a full sunbrella canvas over the rear deck., & canvas screens for the interior of all windows.
Inside, the cabin roof has been insulated & vinyl lined, with teak trim- similar to the new models, and new led lights. The sleeping area has also been insulated & lined with soft wall carpet lining, including a bed head storage cupboard & shelf, —blinds to the portholes & hatch.
Counter tops have been replaced with Corian, including a better shaped sink, & tap, & includes the butane 1 ring cooktop, & there is a slide out shelving rack in the cupboard beneath. In the galley there is a solar fan to keep the area fresh.

There is a standard fridge & hot water heater.
The dinette has been modified to provide comfortable seating for 2, together with more storage behind the seat.
All the cupboard doors & drawer fronts have been replaced by teak, & there is vinyl teak flooring.
Electronics consist of a Simrad NSS 16inch touch screen, including plotter, depth sounder, 4G radar, with AIS receiving from the Icom 504 radio, & Simrad weather/wind station. There is a NMEA 2000 connection of engine data from each engine to the screen. As we have used the boat only locally, I never felt the need for an autopilot, but I have left a location on the teak console for the A/P control & made provision for wiring & NMEA 2000 connection.

The boat has been pulled out every winter & stored covered & heated.
Engines have only 83/85 hours (mechanic left ignition on), have Honda covers & are fitted with Permatrims. They have stainless props & there are spare brand new Aluminium props.

The boat comes with a twin axle E Z Loader trailer.
There is a hypalon Bombard AX2 inflatable dinghy, air deck, with a sunbrella cover that fits neatly on the roof below the tall stainless radar arch, and Suzuki 2.5hp outboard that has only 3 hours, that can be included.
Lots of photos in Sea Rose album.
Price US$98,500

Wow Nick! That is nice. Seems expensive at first but when compared to a new one, it is a good deal. At those low hours, it's practically new. Good luck on the sale.

Sea Rose is now sold to a great couple in Campbell River.
Unfortunately not through the c-brats site.
Does anyone know how to put this in records & how to add to the tip jar?
