I have the Raymarine C70 and the Navionics Marine Chart 256 MB CF Card for British Columbia CF/13XG. I am looking for a CF Card that covers Southeast Alaska from Dixon Entrance to Skagway. Where can I buy this, possibly used? Do any of you C-Brats have one for sale?

Thanks!

Navionics has the MSD/NAVU-NI chip. It covers all of Canada and the USA for $99. You would have both British Columbia and Alaska on one chart.

You can unlock the chip with your existing Navionics chart, which would still work.

I have 2 of them, one for Judy's plotter and one for mine. A great investment. I unlocked them with C-Map chips and Customer Service.

A note of caution. See if the chip is compatible with your plotter.

E Bay has three Navonics Gold CF cards for $80 to about $100. These are older charts. Navionics lists a current card in CF format for S Alaska--which is about $300.

Here is the chart plotter comparability list.

I would have no problem using an older card, but with an up to dated notice to Mariners.

I ordered one from eBay for US $90 + shipping which came to Can. $150. The CF card has the 2012 charts for SE Alaska but I have no choice as the new Navionics card does not work in the Raymarine C70.

Well, the Navionics 2 GB CF/2XG Card with charts for Canada and SE Alaska just arrived and I was anxious to try it out in my Raymarine C70 but it does not load. Evidently the ancient C70 cannot handle a 2GB CF Card. I paid US $90 for it plus shipping. If anyone needs it I'll be glad to get rid of it. So the question remains, why is there no 256 MB CF Card with the Southeast Alaska charts loaded? You would think they must have made one available when the Raymarine C70 was the top-of-the-line chart plotter.

Maybe you can update your C-70 Look at the link.

I have a number of CF cards for the C-80, but I'm in Texas for the winter and the boat is home in Utah.

I have updated the C-80 firmware a few times over the years. Maybe that would fix your problem.
