Get the rack from a c-dory dealer or from the factory, however,

the cooler that the rack was designed for is no longer in production I believe.

but there are other coolers with a length and width dimension that will fit.

Not cheap. My pics have a factory rack.

There are many different racks and cooler assemblies. Probably because most of them are owner built to some extent. The stainless parts are put together (like Lego's, Erector or Tinker Toys) to suit and fit each owners needs and abilities.

Mine came on my previously owned boat. A single bar that goes across the forward edge of the splash well and then t Igloo coolers that attach to that bar with home made fittings and a rubber space to keep it from rubbing on the fiberglass. One cooler goes over the bar and fits from the splash well side. The other hangs on the bar and over the aft section of the cockpit. 2 coolers, one bar, and nothing on the cockpit sole. Ingenuous I think.

This is another option that was not very expensive and required no holes in the boat. I have been using mine for 5 years now and really like it.

I don't believe there is /was a cooler rack which fit all coolers. I have used SS tubing with end fittings for Bimini tops--and the eyes a number of ways in the cockpit well. This is simple and not particularly expensive.

The tubing is 7/8" diameter. The end caps are SS and are held on the tubing with set screw. These are held in the well with the deck fittings for a Bimini top, set horizontally across the well. Can be any elevation--one on the bottom and one on the back often is enough. [/img]
