2006 C-Dory 22 Cruiser, Elberta, AL
Wee Bit is a very well-kept, finely appointed C-Dory that is ready to take you on the loop or to the cruising grounds of your dreams. If you would rather be cruising than fixing, this is your boat. All the re-fitting was done by me, starting in April, 2017, using the best of materials and my 50 years of boat re-fitting, maintenance and repair experience, including ownership of a boat repair business. She has already taken us to the North Channel of Lake Huron, the St. Lawrence Seaway, the Rideau Canal, the Erie Canal, and the St. Johns River. Add your personal items and take off for the adventure only a C-Dory can provide.
Before you ask why we are selling Wee Bit, here is the story: Mark and Carol Poehl met us at Seneca Falls during our Erie Canal trip. They commented that they were selling their C-Dory 25, Crystal Sea, because they would soon have 11 grandchildren that they wanted to spend time with while they (both them and the kids) were young. They wanted to get an RV to take the kids on adventures in larger quantities than the C-Dory affords. We made an offer and agreed on a price comfortable to all. Since we cruise for months at a time, a wee bit larger boat (pardon the pun) would be nice; not to mention that my wife, Carol, said she wanted that boat. How good is that?
Wee Bit is located in Elberta, Alabama with a launch ramp nearby for water trial. Please contact Dale Hardin, 251-597-9256 or joe.dale.hardin@gmail.com to look her over.

My Honda 90 engine oil is presently at 127 hours because we were cruising the Erie Canal and couldn't change oil while in the water. Because of the speed limits on the canal, we were only able to run at high speed for about seven hours up and back on one of the finger lakes at about the middle of our cruise.
As we have our boat up for sale, I obtained an oil analysis report that I added to photos. All metals analyses were good. Fluid Dilution and Oil kinematic velocity were "moderate" for all gas engine use, but likely "normal" for an outboard. |

My question is why someone has not already jumped on this very clean C Dory 22. Lots of good modifications.
This is the ideal time of year to take a trip to warmer climates, cruise the boat for a few weeks (months) and then trailer home! _________________ Bob Austin

I'd buy that boat and take it to BC in a heartbeat. I'm just short many thousands of US dollars! Beautiful boat and immaculately upgraded and maintained. All I would need to add is downriggers! |
