Hi! I recently purchased a 2007 C-dory 16 foot cruiser. I am seeking recommendations for the best place to purchase a clear curtain that attaches behind the pilot house. Thanks!

If you don't get any ideas for pre made curtains you may consider contacting a shop that offers a canvas top service and see if they can make you one.

We had one made out of Sunbrella material for a similar fishing boat a few years ago. They made it with a zipper down the middle to provide quick access to the rods in the event of "fish on".

Good luck, that's a really good idea.

If you want just a simple clear curtain, the materials to build one are not that expensive atSailrite.com. They also have snaps and the tools to install the snaps for only a few dollars. You can cut the vinyl to fit, then attach the snaps with doubled vinyl. Screw the male part to the back of the cabin house. Voila!

I made a complete camper canvas for the back of our 25 with the in expensive clear vinyl and grey polyester/vinyl and glue; using common sense fasteners and snaps. Cost about $300--. Easier than sewing.
