Has anyone installed a 110VAC outlet (GFI) on the starboard side of a CD 25?
I'd like to have one near the stove for a coffee make...
Only ones we have are under the table next to the breaker panel.

Any suggestions??

Mine has one between drivers seat & throttle. You can put one where ever you so desire (nickel neutral, black is gold & green ground)

We don't know what year your boat is *the HIN you have in your profile is not a valid HIN). The fiber glass interior (Late 2007 on) can have an outlet installed on the back splash behind the stove. The earlier boats can have an outlet installed on the vertical panel aft of the throttle/shifter binnacle--the forward bulkhead of the galley counter, outboard. Mine (late 2007) has both.

If you have a refrigerator under the helm seat, you have 110 V AC to the outlet behind the refrigerator, and can use that same circuit. Be use and use marine wiring, coded properly (Black, hot; white, neutral; green, ground. Do not use solid wire such as "Romex" Be sure that any wiring is GFI protected.

If you don't have refrigeration and no 110 V wiring to the Starboard side, then you need to run #12 triplex marine wire under the steps and under the head--hopefully someone left a "fishing" line under the head floor. If not, it will take some time with a fishing steel or fiberglass tape to get a wire thru.

I am surprised that there is not an outlet on the bulkhead behind the throttle. Most of the 25's do--and a few owners have not discovered their presence.

My 22 had the outlet on the vertical panel behind the throttle. Very inconvenient place for an outlet, IMO. I moved it to the front of the main cabinet the holds the sink, stove, etc.

The 25 has a much larger area behind the throttle, and I have use this for a number of chargers which run off 110 V, although I have 6 USB chargers off the 12 volt system. Also this area is far less likely to have water spilled on it than other areas of the galley.
